Clover the Hen

Hi! I'm back. So I've been taking care of the baby goats for a while now, and I bottle feed them every morning and evening. I also got the hen my friend was lending me to take care of. Her name is Clover, and she is a Light Brahma. Her back is featherless, because they had a mean rooster. Right now she is in with Embroidery, and I am making them a mini run to go outside in. That's it for now! Bye!

Noah glances up at me while I sit down and watch the flock.
A blurry close up (sorry, my camera isn't that good) of Clover's back.
Embroidery takes a dust-bath while Clover glances at me curiously.

Bravewing sits quietly in her nesting box.
Aurora and Borialis take interest in my building. But what will they think when Clover and Embroidery appear in it?

  1. Oh how cute is Clover? She will really appreciate living without stress. I inherited a very scruffy hen on NYE and she has gained weight and lovely plumage. It is such a great feeling to see them bloom.

  2. So first of all, I'm sorry to say Evan has passed. He had a lot of strokes at once and died quickly and painlessly. We will miss hime much. And yes, I quite agree with you Finding Fifth. A new post will be coming soon. An update on everyone; The birds are doing well. However, Bravewing is quite sick. Her legs seem to be givng out under her all the time. We have her on grass and clovers, eggshell, and hen scratch. She drinks water strange and tips her head completely upside-down to drink it sometimes. Hopefully she'll get better. Post coming soon!

  3. Snowflake's good. Weezie still annoys him though.
